Use ExcConfig (Excalibur Configuration Utility) to assign a device number and system resources (Memory Addresses, I/O port setup, IRQ Line) to your Excalibur board. This is the method used to inform the Windows operating system that you want to assign resources to an installed board. This information is stored in the Windows registry.

Under Windows 2000/XP, and Windows 9x/ME, for PCI and PCMCIA boards, most of the resource information can be assigned as "Auto", since the Plug and Play mechanism takes care of resource allocation.

Excalibur Systems can create custom-designed applications to meet your specific requirements - just call our sales office to discuss your needs.
