Boards in this family have an option for either single or multi function 1553.
Multi-function (Px) means that
- RT mode can simulate (activate) any number of RTs, up to all of the RTs, 0-31
- BC mode can simulate (activate) any number of RTs (say, to fill in for those RTs
for which you have no real RT or other channel playing RT mode)
- error injection exists (is available, can be set) in both BC & RT modes
Single function (PxS) means that
- RT mode can simulate (activate) only one RT (any one of them, from 0-31)
- BC mode cannot simulate (activate) any RTs
- no error injection is allowed in any mode (BC, RT)

Multi-channel boards which operate either as a Bus Controller, Remote Terminal, or Bus Monitor. These boards are based on the industry-standard "Summit" chip which is RT validated. ***NOW A LEGACY PRODUCT***

All Excalibur 1553 multi function boards can be ordered with the 1760 option, which incorporate use of Checksums, Support for Header Word and Servicing the SRQ Bit.

Mini Munitions Store Interface (MMSI) (EBR 1553) modules support up to eight MMSI hub ports and one composite Bus Monitor output. Each module can operate in one of three modes of operation: Remote Terminal, Bus Controller/Concurrent-RT/Concurrent Monitor, and Bus Monitor.

Boards in the H009 family provide a complete solution for developing and testing H009 interfaces and performing system simulation of the H009 bus, according to the standard H009 protocol.

AS5643 (FireWire) - 1394B cards support up to three fully independent nodes; each node having three full duplex ports associated with it, and 2 MB of memory for message data and control registers.

ARINC-429 interface boards supports multi-channels in any combination of transmitters and receivers. Each of these channels feature error injection and detection capabilities.

The EXC-664PCIe board is an ARINC-664 test and simulation board designed to help integrate avionics suites, and can simulate up to two End Systems with full dual redundant support for receive and transmit operation.
