The board supports up to 4 modules, each module represents an independent test and simulation device.
Modules available include MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760, MMSI, H009, ARINC-429, ARINC-708, Serial, Discrete and CAN bus. The EXC-4000PCI represents a breakthrough in flexibility for avionics test equipment permitting the simulation of an entire test suite from a single PCI board. It will, for example, be possible to control 20 ARINC-429 channels, a 1553 channel and discrete I/O from a single board. Most modules are dual port RAM processor based and offer a simple and powerful interface to the card.
The EXC-4000PCI is supplied with C drivers, including source code. Mating connector provided for I/O connection.

"-E" added to the end of the part number specifies extended temperature (-40° to +85°C) option.
