EXCALIBUR's COMMUNICATION MONITOR is a tool for capturing data transmission streams from the EXC-1553PCI/Px, 1553PCMCIA/EP, and DAS-429PCI/Mx board families in various combinations of up to 8 different EP/Px and Mx channels.
User-defined filters and triggers allow the engineer to select individual MIL-STD-1553 RTs and 429-Labels, and the resulting log file can be used to examine the status of the monitored systems. Data is stored either continuously, with files being saved at regular, user-defined, intervals, or whenever a trigger condition is met, so that extraneous data is not stored needlessly. The program displays values of received triggers for each channel being monitored.
