The board supported any user selected combination of up to 10 ARINC-429 receive and transmit channels. The receiver mode allowed for storage of all or selected information. The on board high speed processor and true dual-port RAM offered a simple and powerful interface to the board. The board operated independently of the host computer, reducing the need for host intervention.
The DAS-429VME/RxTx was supplied with C drivers, including source code.
A C-size version of the product, the DAS-429VXI/RxTx was also available.
