The board supported any user-selected combination of up to 10 ARINC 429 receive and transmit channels. The receiver mode allowed for the storage of all or selected information. The board high speed processor and true dual-port RAM offered a simple and powerful interface to the board. The board operated independently of the host computer, reducing the need for host intervention.
