We are expanding rapidly and are looking to fill two new positions as soon as possible for the NORTHEAST and EAST COAST regions. POSITION 1: TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND SALES ENGINEER (New York) Job Responsibilities: - Travel to client sites and provide technical support
- Test and trouble shoot esi hardware and software
- Prepare demos of esi products
- Provided phone support for esi products
Job Qualifications: - Computer / engineering degree or equivalent
- Software skills: include but are not limited to: programming and languages/compliers
(C/C++, must include basic knowledge of arrays, pointers, structures and interrupt handling for 32 bit applications, Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP, familiar with binary and hexadecimal coding - Hardware skills: include but are not limited to: buses, integration of components within computers and electronic circuits. Basic knowledge of PC (ISA, PCI) architectures, ability to install and integrate ISA and PCI boards and pcmcia cards, working knowledge of logic devices and basic circuit design theory
- Analytic skills: ability to correctly and efficiently evaluate and isolate problems and find solutions
- Interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively with engineers, sales reps, clients as well as other personnel
- Sales skills: ability to develop and maintain relationships with key customers, plan and deliver clear and persuasive product presentations, and achieve sales goals
- Must be able to travel outside the office 50% of the time
- Avionics communications, MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC-429 and protocols preferred but not mandatory
